Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Scholarship Update.

The Legacy Foundation & Leadville Race Series are thrilled to announce a change in the scholarships awarded to Lake Co. high school grads.

The LT100 Legacy Scholarship program began in 2009 with 26 Lake Co. High School graduates each receiving $1000 to continue their education.  Since that first year the foundation has awarded over $340,000 in LT100 Legacy Scholarships. 

2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the LT100 Legacy Scholarship program.  In celebration of this anniversary and in recognition of the ongoing generosity of our LT100 Legacy supporters, our January Board of Directors meeting included a unanimous decision to DOUBLE the LT100 Legacy Scholarships from $1000 to $2000, starting with our 2019 graduates. 

Just like the shotgun that rings out at the start line, 2019 is off with BANG!
