BRIGHTER TOMORROW GRANTS
LAKE COUNTY + CLOUD CITY HIGH SCHOOL FUNDING
The purpose of the LT100 Legacy Foundation ‘Brighter Tomorrow’ Grants is to support school staff who are working to provide Lake County students with new life experiences, exposure to new activities or opportunities to see their world in new ways. The end goal of the funding is for students to broaden their own purview, gain a greater understanding of the opportunities available to them, while hopefully expanding their own ideas of what might be possible for them in their lives, schooling, or careers.
‘Brighter Tomorrow’ Grant Criteria:
‘Brighter Tomorrow’ Grants are primarily available for teachers, staff, or faculty to apply.
Grant requests will typically be funded up to $1,000.
There are 2 funding cycles each year. Deadlines to receive applications are;
August 31st
January 21st
Applicants will be notified as to the status of their request within 14 days of the application deadline. This will include steps for how to access funds if approved.
Preference will be given to requests where students are the direct recipients of what the funding provides.
Preference will be given to requests supporting Lake County High School/Cloud City High School initiatives. It is our belief that these students are more likely to need opportunities to expand their views on life and career opportunities at this stage in their schooling.
Preference will be given to applicants/students that have not received funding in the previous grant cycle.
All applications must complete the following Brighter Tomorrow grant application, preferably in digital form. Please provide detailed and concise responses.
